So... The big decision has been made, but what about all the others that now follow? We're going travelling, which is great, but we have a list of decisions..

I'm working on the first decision, estate agents coming round to look at the house. The news isn't good on the selling side.. The house price is lower than anticipated (no surprise) but also ad on to that £4k estate agents fees and up to £6k mortgage early repayment fees and the costs are mounting up. That, in addition to the lower house price gives me practically nothing... Reckon about 18 months before house prices pick up, so that times nicely with a return..

For renting, need to get stuff shipped out of the house, plus Gas certificates for the appliances etc that need them. And I just found out that the mortgage company want £100 to consider whether they will allow me to rent the property out... So they could say no and leave me out of pocket. Cheeky...

Anyway, better go write the costs down and weigh it up. Bring on the decisions...
